What is URATPG ?
URATPG 2023 is an entrance exam conducted by Rajasthan University for admission to postgraduate courses. Rajasthan University has started receiving applications for URATPG as of June 19. The last date to apply for URATPG is June 26.
Rajasthan University released a notification regarding the complete process for URATPG 2023. Therefore, interested candidates who wish to pursue postgraduate courses at Rajasthan University can apply for URATPG 2023 until June 26.

Marking scheme and syllabus
- There will be 100 multiple choice objective questions carrying one mark each.
- URATPG is of 100 marks.
- The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
- Their will be no negative marking in this exam.

Two phases of admission process in a pg course
There are total phases included in the admission process of a postgraduate degree.
PHASE – 1 :- This phase includes the URATPG objective test. Students who clears this test will be permitted to fill form for phase – 2 of admission process in postgraduate programmes.
PHASE – 2 :- Once the student has cleared the Entrance Test, he/she will have to fill another form online on https://www.uratpguor.org/rajasthan-university for seeking admission to different programmes run by the departments/centres. The student can fill up to 05 programmes of his/her choice based on his/her Test subject. The hard copy of this application form is to be deposited in the concerned department.
For Preparation of Merit List of PG Programmes:-
- 70% weightage of written examination of entrance test of URATPG + 30%
weightage of marks obtained in Graduation as mentioned in University Prospectus2023-24 and weightage (if any) as given in the Prospectus. - Reservation rules as per Government of Rajasthan policy.
- In subjects of Music/Visual Arts/ Drawing & Painting/ MPA- Practical test (30
marks) will also be held by the concerned department.
